Friends and family will remember Glenn with respect and gratitude for a life marked by steady devotion to the people and passions that mattered most to him. In the everyday rhythms of life, he found genuine enjoyment in the things that brought connection and conversation—especially Braves baseball, Auburn football, and the enduring music of Elvis.
Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Fred Heaton; his mother, Gwen Jones; his brother, Dennis Heaton; his grandfather, Floyd Heaton Sr. (Ossie Mae Heaton); and his grandfather, Leon Norsworthy (Mae Ollie).
He is survived by his brothers, Terry Heaton and Randell (Teresa) Jones; his sisters, Shelia Heaton Allen, Toni Heaton (Jeff) Tidwell, Shelia (Drew) Griffin, and Deborah McDonald.
Friends and Family Visitation will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home & Cemetery, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Alabama 36117, on July 10, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a Celebration of Life Service to follow. Services will conclude with a burial in Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
