Ken was born and raised in Elmore County, Alabama, attending Wetumpka H.S. After graduation from high school, he enlisted in the US Marine Corps and served from 1959-1963. After his service concluded, he enrolled at Auburn University and received his degree in accounting. His professional career in accounting culminated in becoming a partner at Jackson Thornton and Co. His commitment to the Lord resulted in him earning a master’s degree in Christian Apologetics from Biola University in La Mirada, CA.
He was married to his loving wife Faye for over 60 years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He and Faye loved to travel and had adventures all over the world with their friends and family.
