He was a successful businessman and an avid studier of God's word.
He was known as "Terry" to his wife of 68 years, Anna Salter McCollum ("Nana"), as well as friends; "Mr. McCollum" to subordinates; "Dad" to his three sons, James Terry McCollum, Jr. (Bo) and his wife Rene Beasley McCollum (passing: 2/27/2018), Frank Timothy (Tim) McCollum and his wife Carrie Ellis McCollum, and Kevin Wiley (Kevin) McCollum and his wife Wendy Granberry McCollum.
