I am so glad I talked with my Aunt Joyce last June. She told me then about her health and how she felt. I am sad with her passing, but can be happy with the memories she gave.

Mu grandma was an amazing woman. I had a bunch to say about her to her friends at the funeral but I deeply loved my grandma. She taught me patience and understanding and tolerance. She also kept me in college and saw to it that I qualified for graduate school. When not a single other family member would help me she cosigned a Student Loan so I could go to school and fix my federal student loans. If it wasn't for my grandma I would of never finished undergrad. And she has been amazing my whole life.

Met this wonderful lady in 2002 and we became instant friends. Miss Joyce was so witty, loving and fun to be around. I especially loved our travel excursions together and weekly Mexican Domino games. I looked forward to seeing her each week and sharing the happenings of each other’s lives. I’m certainly going to miss our conversations! Praying for her loving family, for their strength, comfort, and peace.
