She was preceded in death by her father Albert Redwing and her sister, Victoria Christensen.
She is survived by her husband, Kim VanHunnik; daughter and son-in-law Jennifer VanHunnik-Hawkins and Clay Hawkins; son, Joshua VanHunnik; two grandchildren, Brysen Hawkins and Bella Hawkins; mother and step-father, Belva and Ray Hatle; sister, Jan Redwing; three brothers, Clayton Redwing, Sr., Frank Redwing and Richard Redwing.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
