Kevin Eugene Langley, age 33, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away suddenly and peacefully, entering eternal rest with the Lord on September 27, 2023. His family is deeply saddened by his untimely departure from this world. He was preceded in death by his beloved father Albert Eugene Langley, his grandfather William Eugene Langley and his grandmother Joanne B. Hahn. Their memory and the love they shared will forever remain in our hearts.
Kevin's greatest love in life was his family. He is survived by the love of his life, Kaneshia Thornton, and their daughter, Keleah Elena Langley. He also leaves behind his beloved bonus daughters, Jayla Arrionna Lowe and Taylor Renae Lowe. Kevin's devotion to his family was immeasurable, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Kevin and his mother, Linda Ann Langley, shared an inseparable bond that will forever live on. Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Brandi Ann Langley (Adam Martin) and Kimber Jones. He was a source of love and support for his family, and his presence enriched their lives. Kevin's memory will also be held dear by his grandmother, Linda Blankenship, and his grandfather, Willi W. Hahn. He leaves behind cherished memories with his aunt, Anita Langley Carter (Todd), his uncles, Walter J. Hahn (Alyson) and Andy Langley. Kevin's cousins, Delaney Carter Wilson (Peyton), Harrison Carter, Wilson Carter, Joshua Hahn (Courtney), Zachary Hahn (finance’ Lauren) and Caleb Hahn, will forever cherish the bond they shared. He adored his nephews, Axton Martin and Spencer Rogers, and niece, Lilly Ann Martin. His precious dog, Bruno, was a constant source of joy and companionship.
Kevin's love extended beyond his immediate family. He cherished his relationship with Kaneshia’s family: Julia Geeter, Lorenza Hughes and Rodney Brisbon, Kwantrice Thornton, Lorenzo Thornton, and Walter Thornton. Kevin was also deeply grateful for his friendships, always willing to lend a helping hand to his cherished friends.
Kevin had a passion for cars and served as a mechanic at Jack Ingram Mercedes. He found great satisfaction in his work and had an incredible knack for all things automotive. Kevin's love for sports, particularly baseball and Alabama Crimson Tide Football, was evident throughout his life. From his early years playing t-ball to his passion for watching his favorite teams, sports brought him immense joy.
In honor of Kevin's life, a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd at Alabama Heritage. Family and friends are invited to join together to celebrate his life and share their memories. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow.
During this difficult time, may we find solace in the memories we shared with Kevin and the profound impact he had on our lives. His spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
