Larry and I first met in 1972! Several years later we played each other in the semi finals of the Alabama Private School Basketball Championship. Larry at Central Al. Academy and me at Coosa Valley Academy . What a great game won by Central. Central went on to win the Championship. We have been great friends ever since! I loved Larry Hornsby!

Praying for peace and comfort for all the family and friends. Larry and I grew up in the same community, and were classmates for many years. I always considered him one of my best friends, and someone I could always rely on. He was always there to make you laugh and listen to your problems. I cherish those fun times and memories. I know he will be greatly missed!!

I knew every feature of the back of Larry's head because I sat behind him for 12 years in school. I am Larry's cousin, so I was always seated behind him in alphabetical seating. Larry was smart , funny, and a great cousin. So sorry to lose him, even though I haven't seen him in years. My condolences to Randy, Dee and the rest of his family.
