

Linda Carolyn Wright, a beloved resident of Montgomery, Alabama, and formerly of Stone Mountain, Georgia, peacefully passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 76.
Born on March 18, 1949, Linda was cherished by all who knew her. She possessed an enthusiastic, warm, and trustworthy spirit and truly never met a stranger. Her welcoming nature and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Linda was preceded in death by her loving parents, Hezekiah and Alice Wright, and her nine siblings. As the baby of the family, she was deeply loved and held a special place in the hearts of those around her. She leaves to cherish her memory, two half-sisters Hattie Doty and Jennifer Walker, a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Linda dedicated many years of her life to serving as a compassionate educator at Woodward Elementary School in Atlanta, Georgia. She loved her students as if they were her own children and took great pride in nurturing their growth, both academically and personally.
A lifelong advocate for education, Linda believed deeply in the power of learning. She constantly encouraged others to never stop learning, to keep moving forward, and to embrace life with curiosity and purpose.
Linda C. Wright will be fondly remembered as a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, teacher, and friend. Her legacy of love, learning, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
A Graveside Service for Linda will be held on Friday, January 23, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Alabama Heritage Cemetery located at 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117.
