Marjorie Ruth Brigance Deason

Sunday, August 17, 2025. Marjorie was born October 24, 1940, in Alabama to the

late Samuel and Alma Brigance.

She was a longtime member of Billingsley Baptist Church Billingsley, AL before becoming a treasured member of Lakeview Baptist Church Montgomery, AL. She loved shopping, cruises and most of all her grandchildren.

Mrs. Deason was a caring, warm, nurturing soul. Her love and compassion was reflected in the care and environment that her two daughters grew up in. She continued that precious devotion and love when her grandchildren and great grandchild became additions to the family.

Marjorie was preceded in death by the love of her life, James Carl Deason, her parents, and her siblings, Audrey Howard, Kenneth Brigance, Hubert Brigance and Virginia Gillespie.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her two daughters, Darla Howorth (Bobby), Andrea Tyus (Keith), her grandchildren, Taylor Tyus, Rachel Macias (Josue), Morgan Fisher (Billy), Julie Handey (Mason), her great grandson, Shepherd James Fisher, and two brothers, Elmer Brigance (Alice) and Wendell Brigance (Connie).

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Wednesday, August 19, 2025, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home 10505 Atlanta Highway Montgomery, AL 36117. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 PM with Rev. Robert McMicken officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
