Mary is survived by her loving husband, Laster James Walker; children, LaKeshia (Freddie) Thompson and Shenikwa Walker; grandchildren, Keiona Walker, ShaKera Walker, Kambreya Walker, Shar'Tavius Walker, and Fredrik Thompson; as well as her great-grandchild, Keilan Williams. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary L. Joseph.
Mary will Lay In State on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117. A Funeral Service will be held the following day on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Her Graveside Service will be held Monday, September 1, 2025 at 9:30 AM at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115.
