Born In Bainbridge, Ga on Sept 2nd of 1950, Beth was the youngest of three children of Dr. Henry And Elizabeth Bridges. After college, she married her high school sweetheart, Barry Hall Bowen. The two married and raised 4 children together. In 1978 they moved to Tuscaloosa, AL to start a new business. They were one of the earliest franchise owners of a new company called Servpro. By 1996 their business grew and they expanded to Montgomery, AL. Beth was an amazing and loving mother, and grandmother. She was known to many as a caregiver and philanthropist. She lived modestly so that she could give to others. She gave to numerous charities in Alabama and beyond. Her heart for loving others and giving is what she will be remembered most for.
Beth is preceded in death by her husband, Barry Hall Bowen; as well as her parents, Dr. Henry Bridges and Elizabeth Bruce Bridges. She is survived and greatly missed by her 4 children; Betsy Bowen, Brian Bowen (Susan), Bruce Bowen (Anna Kate) and Brittany McFarland (Brett); siblings, Dr. Edwin Bridges and Bruce Bridges; 9 grandchildren, Brett Montgomery, Beth Kelly (Chance), Dr. Madison Price (Sterling), Trent Bowen, Maddox Bowen, Bridges Bowen, Henley Bowen, Cruise Bowen and Carlee McFarland; as well as her precious dog "cutie".
A Visitation for Beth will be held Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM.
