Eloise was born in Chadborn, NC. She moved with her parents to Montgomery, AL at the age of 12, where she spent the next 54 years. Eloise retired from the State of AL in Telecommunications. She and her husband moved to NC to be near their daughter, granddaughter, and great-grandchildren. She loved playing dominoes and was typically unbeatable, even at 83.
She is survived by her daughter Teresa Grant, granddaughter Jennifer Spain (David Spain), and great grandchildren, Alexis Haley Spain, Addison Spain, and Cameron Spain.
She is preceded in death by her husband Russell Guy Grant, Jr., her father Montgomery Hoyt Regan, mother Mary Lucille Lide (James Lide, Jr.) and brother Robert Montgomery Regan.
Eloise will live on in the lives of those who loved her.
A Funeral Service for Eloise will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117, with a Visitation being held one hour prior. A Graveside Service will immediately follow at Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
