MONDAY, Mary Ellen, 90, of Montgomery, AL, passed away at home on Friday, November 20, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Daniel M. Johnson and Callie Marler Johnson of Opp, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband Claren D. Monday. She is survived by three children Sharyn Palmer (Carlton), Mike Monday (Julia), and Cheryl Monday; four grandchildren, Lee Ellen Rocks (Jason), Pamela Taylor (John), Jill Cothran (Allen) and Levi Monday (Allie); six great grandchildren, Haley, Caroline, Carson, Eddie, Charlie and Wyatt. A Celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Perry Hill UMC with Ministers Mark Osgood and Jim Reece officiating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association or Perry Hill United Methodist Church.
