

Mr. Morris Claudie Warren was born on April 12,1935 to the late Cornelius and Lottie Belle Warren in Prattville, Alabama. He confessed his love for and hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of First Christian Methodist Episcopal Church for over forty plus years where he served the church faithfully in numerous capacities until the time of his illness.
Morris was educated in the Autauga County School System and attended North Highland High School. After attending Railroad Engineering School, he started his career spanning over 30 plus years with L&N Railroad as a Master Engineer where he remained until retirement in May,2000. He also was a member of the Grand Masons, Rising Star Lodge No. 8 in Montgomery.
He was an extrovert who loved to meet and talk with everyone he met; never meeting anyone as a stranger. He met the love of his life Mary Ann Graves, and on September 9, 1954 they were married. To this 63 year union, five children were born: Sharon Jordan (Montgomery, AL), Michael Anthony Warren (Prattville, AL), Rev. Gigi Alisa Warren (Atlanta, GA), Angela Vanessa Warren (Montgomery, AL) and Kathy Denise Tyson (Montgomery, AL).
Morris is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ann Warren, daughter Angela Vanessa Warren, twin grandsons Taylor and Tyler Tyson, parents Cornelius and Lottie Belle Warren, one sister Laura Mae Brantley, five brothers Cornelius Jr., William, Robert, James, and Bryant Warren, and son in law Anthony Tyson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, four children, Sharon (Joseph) Jordan Montgomery, AL; Michael (Gwen) Warren Prattville, AL; Rev. Gigi A. Warren Atlanta, GA; and Kathy Tyson, Montgomery, AL; three sisters, Mary Watts (Atlanta, GA), Barbara Ann (Charles) Jamison (Pensacola, FL), Bettye Jo (Robert) Smith Brooklyn, NY.
Five grandchildren: Ginger (Gerald) Hegler, Helena, AL; Brandon Roberson, Pensacola, FL; Denzell (Aysha) Roberson, Pensacola, FL; Michael Warren II, Prattville, AL; and Katelyn Tyson Montgomery, AL.
Five great-grandchildren: Alexa and Dylan Hegler, Birmingham, AL; Eli, Ayden, and Denver Roberson, Pensacola, FL.
Mr. Warren will be laying in Repose on Friday, February 14th, 2025 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. On Saturday, February 15th, 2025, a visitation will be held at 10:00 AM followed by a Homegoing Service at 11:00 AM.
