Mrs. Slauson was an avid reader of books and magazines, loved thrift store shopping, and was a true foodie. Her heart was one of service, denying self and always thinking of others. She loved spending time with her family and was known to all for her sense of humor.
She belonged to Evangel Church on Vaughn Road in Montgomery, AL.
Mrs. Slauson was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Robert Charles Bolton and her husband of 22 years, Lonnie J. Slauson, and a daughter, Cynthia Simmons.
She is survived by a daughter, Leslie Charnelle Bolton Farr (Spencer), grandchildren, Michelle Arnold, Hunter Thew (Michael), Zachary Farr, great grandchildren Easton Cortese, Kit Cortese.
Visitation will be held at Evangel Church | Montgomery Assemblies of God, 3975 Vaughn Rd, Montgomery, AL 36106, US, on August 30, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on August 30, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
A private committal service will take place after the service.
