She was born February 17, 1947, in Nashville, Tennessee, and went on to spend many years residing in Las Vegas, Nevada before her final move to Pike Road, Alabama. A beloved and cherished presence in the lives of many, Faye will be remembered for the gentle grace with which she moved through the world and the devoted care she so freely gave to others.
For almost 30 years, Faye served as a registered nurse, offering not only skill and steadiness, but also a compassionate spirit that brought comfort to all she came in contact with. Her work reflected the generous heart that shaped every part of her life—one that met family, friends, and strangers alike with warmth, patience, and sincere kindness.
For nearly 59 years, Faye shared a life of joy, happiness, and understanding with her beloved husband, William “Bill” Causey. She carried a deep and abiding love for her family, and her warmth extended naturally to family, friends, and strangers alike—always guided by a loving heart. Faye's love for her children was especially boundless.
In her quieter moments, Faye found joy in reading—especially mythical genres—and she loved to travel, carrying with her a sense of wonder and an open heart. The love she gave so generously, and the tenderness with which she treated others, became her enduring legacy.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Patrick and Marie Patrick; and by her son, William Causey Jr. She is survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Causey; her children, Joanne Magana and Jonathan Causey; her brother, Charles Patrick; her mother-in-law, Juanita R. Little; her son-in-law, Michael Palmieri (Mike Palmieri); as well as 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117, on August 23, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
As we say goodbye to Faye, we celebrate the legacy of love and laughter she leaves behind. In her memory, we hold onto the joy she created and the gentle kindness that she extended to all. Her spirit remains with us, a beacon of love and kindness that defined her life.
