Orene was a devoted wife and mother who was loved by many. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt Johnson, and two grandsons; Tyler and Adam French.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by two daughters; Delinda (Randy) Ray and Donna (Ray) Miller; three sons; Derry ( Teresa) Johnson, Dwaine Johnson and David Johnson, four grandchildren; Aimee French, Cody Johnson, Lauren and Kyle Miller; a brother, Donald (Nell) Davis, two sisters; Myra Blackburn and Claudia Ruth Davis ; numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 6PM-8PM at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home.
A celebration of Life service will be Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 10:00AM from the chapel of Alabama Heritage Funeral Home with Erik Hooie officiating. Burial to follow at Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
The family would like to send special thanks to the staff of Prattville Health and Rehabilitation for their care of Mrs. Johnson.
