Patricia was born in Columbus, Georgia on the 20th of March 1951. Her vibrant and friendly personality added much life to the people she was around. She never knew a stranger, a trail of friends were left everywhere she went due to her warm and welcoming demeanor. Words cannot truly do justice for how much she loved and took pride in her family and her friends. She was known for making her famous, homemade cinnamon rolls. She was the first to plan family and friend gatherings, cooking and fellowship was one of her many passions. She was known to be a very detailed lady, that is why she enjoyed needle work, hand work, smocking, and sewing. She loved all animals, but hunting dogs were a big part of her life. When spring and summer came, the hummingbirds kept her attention on them. She enjoyed spending her days outside in the warm sun watching them all gather around the feeders. She attended the Children's Harbor as well as the Church of the Pines at Lake Martin. She was an active member of the Friendship Circle of the Women's of the United Methodist Church, where she participated in the projects and fellowship. She loved the water, you could also find her on Lake Martin on a hot summer day enjoying time spent with her family and friends making memories with one another.
She is survived by her loving husband, Neil Kyle Lowery; brother Charles C. Jenkins III and wife Delina; mother in law, Mrs. Vaughn E. Lowery; sister in law, Evaughn Balkcom and Husband Ron; and numerous nieces and one nephew.
She is preceded in death by her son, Benjamin Kyle Lowery; father, Charles C. Jenkins Jr.; mother, Sara C. Jenkins; and father in law, James W. Lowery.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from nine o'clock in the morning until ten fifteen in the morning on Wednesday, the 28th of July in Heritage Hall located at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Alabama.
A committal service is to be conducted half past ten o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 28th of July, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home and Cemetery.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family request that memorial contributions in Patricia's name be directed to the Humane Society of Elmore County 255 Central Plank Road, Wetumpka, Alabama 36092.
