To the Meehan Family,

Sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Meehan. I just received word today that he passed away. I worked with him for 10 yrs, the last four as the Deli/Bakery manager. Mr. Meehan will always be one of my favorite managers.  I remember telling him that if he ever left Winn Dixie, I would not be able to work there.  Sure enough, after he left, I quit 3 months later. That says alot about the impression he had on my life. He will be greatly missed.

Mr. Meehan was always a great boss.  My memories are not only of Winn Dixie but Rite Aide as well.  He'll always be remembered with fond memories!  Mandy Mann

Sorry to have heard about the loss of Mr.Meehan. Like many I was one of his employees at Winn-Dixie. He was my first boss and still to this day the best boss I ever had. He was honest, fair and understanding. I know that I am not the only teenager whose life was deeply affected by him. I can honestly say that he left an everlasting impression on my life and he will be missed by many.

I remember Mr. Meehan very well...I was a cashier at Winn Dixie where he managed, I worked there 20 years ago.  He was such a nice person.  I am so sorry for your loss, he will be missed.

Mr. Meehan always had a special place in my heart.  He was my very first boss and always my favorite one.  He touched a lot of young people's lives and he will be dearly missed.

I am sorry for you guys loss, Mr. Meehan was a wonderful person, He was my mentor during my store manager training at Winn Dixie.  He taught people to be fair,work hard, to remember values.   He will be truly missed.  Wanda Wallace

As everybody else did, I loved Pat from the time I first knew him...I will always treasure my memories of his compassion and his humor.  May God ease the pain of his loss for you.

Mr. Meehan gave me first job at Winn Dixie.  I have many happy memories of working with him and learned so much from him.  He was so good at working with us kids.  He was always patient and fair and willing to give us more than just a second chance.  What I remember most about him is that he was such a devoted family man.  I know he will be missed tremendously.  I am deeply sorry for your loss.

I met Pat at Goodwyn Jr. High in the 7th grade. It was an instant friendship. We played football together. He played halfback. We were classmates from the 7th grade til graduation from Lee. There are some people that give you a good feeling when they walk into your presence, and Pat was certainly one of those for me. He was always fun to be with. Last time I saw him was at the 20th Lee class of '65 reunion. It felt like I had seen him a few days before instead of years. I never thought of Pat without thinking of Ronnie Herring. They were great friends. Pat was a nice, friendly man with a dry sense of humor. I wish we would have had more time together. I know he's gonna be missed greatly by those close to him. I feel like a part of me is gone too. God bless you and keep you Pat, rest in peace. My prayers and sympathy go out to all his family and friends. ~ Jerry Henderson

Cheryl and Family,  The last time I saw Pat was at Capitol Heights Baptist Church.  I thanked him for being kind enough to give my son, Colin Mann, a part-time job at Winn Dixie while he  was involved in sports at Lee High School.  Pat was so good to work around all the students and their schedules.  I pray for a peace that surpasses all understanding.

I am a high school classmate of Pat's. I was saddened to read of his passing. I talked to him on the phone only a few months ago about our class reunion.  I didn't know Pat well, but he always was polite and friendly when we ran into each other. I used to see him at the Winn-Dixie on occasion. You and your family are in my prayers.
