

STANTON, Randall Timothy, 42, a Montgomery resident, went home to his Lord on Thursday, September 6, 2012, following a hard-fought battle with congestive heart failure. He is survived by his wife, Josie; mother, Wanza Shirey; father, Elvin Stanton and stepmother, Cameron Martindale-Stanton; sister, Stephanie Hust (Joey); nephews and nieces whom he loved as his own children; many cousins and other relatives. Randall was a loving and giving person whose goal was to make others happy. He was a consummate blood donor, and organ donor, community volunteer, and served many years as a Jubilee CityFest volunteer. He was a graduate of Jeff Davis High School and, despite his health problems, continued his education and was slated to graduate this May from Troy University Montgomery, where he loved his professors and university staff. He cared deeply for those in need and for animals. Prior to his disability, Randall worked for the Alabama Department of Transportation. He was a member of Woodland UMC, where he sang in the choir when his health permitted. His stimulating conversations and infectious smiles will be missed by all those who loved him so dearly. His Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012, from 4-6 PM, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, followed by his Funeral Service on Monday, September 10, 2012, at 10 AM, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home Chapel.
