

Rick served in the US Air Force for 30 years and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. He was stationed in many different states (Washington, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Utah and finally Alabama) where he managed the base carpentry shop until he retired. Rick also served two tours of duty in Germany, first at Hahn Airbase and later at Rhein-Mein Airbase near Frankfurt. He was responsible for building barracks, communications towers, and other structures on bases in Viet Nam, Thailand, and the Philippines. Following his retirement, Rick worked for Civil Service at Maxwell Air Force Base. In his spare time, Rick enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, woodworking, and Alabama football.
Rick was predeceased by his father, Anthony B. Pascoal and his mother Leah C. Pascoal and his sisters Evelyn Dusenbery and Irene Barry. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Cates Pascal, son Michael Pascal (Debra), daughters Linda Turner (Bill), and Sandra Turner as well as grandchildren Ryan Pascal, Mandy Pascal, Haley Pascal, Rachel Turner, and Will Turner. Rick was also grateful to his first wife Marilyn Rose Pascal for the support she provided during their moves to many Air Force bases around the country and in Germany.
A Committal Service will be held Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 12:30 pm at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Hwy. 119, Montevallo, AL 35115.
Pall bearers: Ryan Pascal, Will Turner, Mark Turner, and Angel Pagansoto.
