She attended church with her childhood friend and gave her life to the Lord at an early age.
On Sept. 16,1960, she married Keith Rhodes and to this union 2 children were born. Sheryl "Sherry" Rhodes and Steven Rhodes.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Steve (Joi) Rhodes, grandson Christian Rhodes, and a host of family and friends whom she loved deeply.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the following people for the love and care they have given to Rita: Brittney Davenport, Mrs. Betsy Driggers, Jazmine Smith, Lauren Miller, Randy Sasser, Shelby Lazenby, South East Hospice Team Brother Randy Godfrey, Brother Ben Nobles and Santuck Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Santuck Baptist Church, 7250 Central Plank Rd, Wetumpka, AL 36092, on July 10, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
