Robert Raymond Daniel

Dr. Robert R. Daniel, age 79, a resident of Montgomery, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Alabama Heritage Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Jackie Slaughter. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am prior to the service. Entombment will follow immediately at the Alabama Heritage Garden Mausoleum. He was preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Alease H. Daniel and his parents, Thomas W. and Annie Maude Daniel. He is also predeceased by his brothers: Lovick Allen and Homer Allen, and sisters: Mary Allen Daniel and Lucille Allen Chambless. He is survived by his children: Robert and Chantal Daniel, Lawrence Daniel, Walter Daniel, Jennifer Daniel Campbell, Nancy and Keith Brechtelsbauer. He is also survived by his brother Thomas W. Daniel, Jr. and his sisters: Annette Culp, Jeanette Bowden, and Sara Brooks. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Amy Daniel, David Richardson, Melissa Richardson, Ian Brechtelsbauer, and Erich Brechtelsbauer. He was a lifetime member of the American Medical Association and member of Capitol Heights United Methodist Church. He was a proud US Army veteran. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Capitol Heights United Methodist Church. The following nephews will serve as pallbearers: Jerry Allen, Clint Allen, Glenn Daniel, Sid Chambless, Mike Tidmore, Lynn Bowden, and Jeff Sprague.
