Rodney Anthony Bell

Rodney Anthony Bell, age 83, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Susan Bell, and by his parents, M.L. and Virginia Bell. He is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne Bell; two sons, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Bell (Andie) and Mr. and Mrs. Andy Bell (Ellen); one daughter, Mrs. Susanna Burtron (Chuck); three stepsons, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Barranco (Dawn), Dr. and Mrs. Brent Barranco (Kim), and Mr. and Mrs. John David Barranco (Katherine); one stepdaughter, Mrs. Lisa Stanaland (David); one brother, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Bell (Barbara); one sister, Ms. Bonnie Bell; thirty grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Rodney graduated from Auburn University with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and proudly served the Montgomery community as a pharmacist for 50 years. He was an avid fan of Auburn football and Atlanta Braves baseball and enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, and grilling for family and friends.

He was a devoted member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church, where his faith and fellowship brought joy to many.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
