Ronnie Allan Broome

Ronnie attended Cairo High School, he graduated in 1966. He joined the United States Air Force in 1967 after 8 years of service, Ronnie joined Montgomery Orthopedic Surgeons and retired after 45 years.

Ronnie loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisher. During football season you could find him every Saturday cheering on the University of Georgia yelling "GO DAWGS"!

Ronnie has survived by his wife Alicia Kay Broome, Sons Woody Broome of Hopehull, Alabama, Jeff Straughn of Simsville, Alabama, and Tony Broome of Auburn, Alabama, Daughter Christy Broome of Lawley, Alabama , And his precious dog Oscar.

Ronnie has also survived by his grandchildren: Dusty Broome age 21 of Orange Beach, Alabama, Mallory Broome age 15 of Auburn, Alabama, Savannah Broome age 14 of Auburn, Alabama, Leslie Broome age 8 of HopeHull, Alabama, Colton Broome age 7 of Auburn, Alabama, Luke Broome age 5 of HopeHull, Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his father Clyde Broome, and mother Pearl Broome, and his brother Fred Broome.

A visitation for Mr. Ronnie Broome will occur Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 2:00PM following with a graveside service at Alabama Heritage Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers and donations the family asked that all proceeds go to the American Kidney Fund.
