Roosevelt brought the sunlight of God into each of our hearts.  I worked with him all the years he was at Greene County. He showed respect and compassion for all his clients and cowokers. I never met a better individual.  His spirit will be missed on this earth but forever held in our souls. 

My sincerest condolences to the entire family for the passing of your husband, father, grandfather and brother.  Especially to Linda Chapman, Roosevelt II and Dawn,  a heartfelt prayer of sympathy for this great loss.  I am just now belatedly learning of his passing just a few minutes before writing this note.  As you already know, Minister Chapman was a great and encouraging minister of the gospel and I have always fondly remembered our fellowship and friendship at the Northwest Church of Christ in Trotwood many years ago.  I know that he was called home to a rest that has been promised to all the faithful.  May his life and example ring out loud throughout the years as you remember the blessing of having him in your lives!  I am truly thankful for having known such a humble giant in the brotherhood, sound in his teaching and always inspirational and uplifting in his messages.  Thank you my brother for all that you have done for the brotherhood over the years! God bless!

I want to express my most sincere condolences to you.  Hopefully you know how much Brother Roosevelt Chapman means to me.  I consider Brother Chapman to be a premier preacher in God's Kingdom.  Brother Chapman's manner of teacher and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ will never be forgotten by me.  I remember the several times he invited me to preach for him while he served the Northwest Church of Christ in Dayton, OH.  He worked tirelessly there and was most hospitable.  He was a profound evangelist, often preaching in Louisville, KY for several occasions.  I am saddened for this significant change in the Chapman family.  I know how much he means to you all.
