Rosemary McQuitty, age 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 30, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Terrence and Bertha Riley and her brother, Terry Riley of Platte
City, MO. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jerry L. McQuitty; her children, Dana (Rick) Webster, Terry McQuitty, Mike (Beth) McQuitty, Carol (Andy) Rollin and Laurie (Charlie) Young; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McQuitty was a dedicated teacher and educator at St. Bede School for 28 years. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m. on Monday, January 2, 2012, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at St. Bede Catholic Church. Burial will be in Platte City, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Bede School.
