I remember Sam as a shy 9th grader, but coming into his own by his junior year of high school. As his broadcast media teacher we spent a lot of time talking about politics. Sam always knew the issues and how to express his viewpoint. He only agreed with me, when he was in agreement with me.
He was a special young man, and a great student. We love you Sam

So remember when Sam and Woody were just small tykes. Emile would drop my work and they would explore the warehouse. Seems like just yesterday. Love you all and God Bless!!

I am sadden by the news of Sam's passing. As a lecturer of journalism at Troy University, Sam was a student in several of my classes. He demonstrated a passion for journalism and enjoyed working as a reporter in Montgomery. It was a pleasure to meet and work with Sam while he studied at the university. My prayers are with your family.

Sam was a student of mine at Troy in my multimedia law course. He was serious about doing a great job in class, and I know he must have been doing fine work at his real job. I will miss him.
