Susan Shaw Horton, 54, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away of natural causes Thursday, August 18th, 2011. Her Visitation will be held Monday, August 22, 2011, at 3 PM, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, followed by her 4 PM Graveside Service at Alabama Heritage Cemetery, with Dr. Jay Wolf officiating. Susan was a member of the First Baptist Church of Montgomery, AL, and had graduated from the School of Nursing at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1984, serving as a Registered Nurse for 27 years. Susan married William Paul Horton, III, on November 19th, 1977, and from that former union came her three surviving daughters: Mikelyn Horton McGinnis (Jay), Shelley Horton Farrior (Jake), and Dana Chrisman Horton; one granddaughter, Pace Elisabeth Farrior; two sisters, Kathy Shaw Cocks (Dan) and Kelley Foley Clinton (Michael).
