Wayne F. Lambert

LAMBERT, Wayne F., 65, a resident of Montgomery, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013. His Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2013, from 5-7 PM at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, followed by his Life Celebration Service at Eastmont Baptist Church on Friday, September 27, 2013, at 11 AM, with Rev. Art Long and Rev. Larry Gore officiating. Preceded in death by his parents, Julia & Merlin Lambert, he is survived by his wife, Mary Lambert; his daughter, Maricia K. Bailey (Shayne); grandchildren, Austin & Addison Bailey; sisters, Catherine Okerlund (Richard), and Anita McClain (Rick); brothers, Myron Lambert and Steven Lambert (Jo Anne); & several nieces and nephews. Mr. Lambert was employed by the Alabama Bankers’ Association for 39 years, and was the Santa Claus for the City of Montgomery. Pallbearers will be Scott Latham, Bill Tilley, Ron Jowers, John Naughton, Scoop Rivers, & Vick Baskerville, and Honorary Pallbearers will be the Alabama Banking School.
