I knew and worked with Armond for many, many years during the heyday of McDermott's marine operations at Amelia and Bayou Black. He had a difficult job at times, with a lot of responsibilities, but he handled it very well and always managed to maintain his good humor. He was one of the people I missed the most after I eventually moved on. May he rest in eternal peace.

I work with Mr. Courville's son Armond at Cortec. He talked about his loving family and his father and mother being such great people. I feel that he and his family are strong and will be there for each other for comfort and support. If Aj jr is a reflection of his father, then his father was a very good man and person. My wife and I offer our prayers and well wishes to the family and friends of Mr. Courville. May Mr. Courville rest in peace.

Blondie..I have so many memories. It seems he was outside working in the yard every time I came by. He was always kind to me. I know he was a great husband and father. He was an outstanding man. I am glad you had your years together so you can cherish your memories.

Armond was such a loving soul. I have fond memories of he and Mike hanging out together when we visited. I have no doubt they are now catching up for lost time, and feel certain there is a Courville reunion happening with all of our relatives! Keeping you all in my prayers at this time. Love to you all.

Remember Armond in elementary school. One of the fastest in school. One of the best bass players I knew later on. I used to watch and hear him play with Hometown Exchange. He taught me a lot. He will be missed. RIP Armond. Preston Landry.
