Benjamin "Ben" Carl Macaluso

February 23, 1958 – August 15, 2011

Benjamin “Ben” Carl Macaluso, 53, a native and resident of Morgan City passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 in Morgan City.

Ben is survived by his brothers Sam Macaluso and wife Stacy, Joe Crappell and his wife Alisa, Norris Duthu, Jr. and his wife Susan; and his sister Susan Tregle and her husband Scott; one uncle Wayne Macaluso; one aunt RayeAnn Bernard; nephews Sam, Dustin and Trey Macaluso, Garret Turner, Joey Crappell, Brandon and Matthew Tregle, Nick and Ty Duthu; nieces Ashley Blanchard, Emily Duthu and Ali Tregle; five great nephews and five great nieces.

Ben is preceded in death by his father “CD” Carl Dominick Macaluso; his mother Mary Duthu; his brother Frank Ellis Macaluso; his grandparents Ben “Beneditto” Macaluso and Mary Macaluso Dugas.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 18, 2011, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Hargrave Funeral Home; and continuing Friday, August 19, 2011, from 8:00 am until 10:00 am. Services will begin at 10:00 am in the Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel.

Ben will be laid to rest in The Morgan City Cemetery.
