Betty Fryou Aucoin

Visitation will be Friday, August 27, 2021 at 6 PM to 9 PM with a rosary at 7 PM at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. Visitation will resume Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 8 AM until dismissal at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at St Andrew Church in Amelia. Interment will follow in the St Andrew Cemetery in Amelia. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, Meme, Aunt and Friend. Betty was born November 22, 1950, in Morgan City to John and Jeanne (Hebert) Fryou.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Crystal Aucoin of Thibodaux and son, Cory Aucoin of Stephensville, granddaughter, Sarah-Gene Aucoin and grandson, Courbin Aucoin, of Stephensville; brother, Ricky Fryou and sister-in-law, Rae Ann Fryou; brother-in-laws, Robert Aucoin, Danny Aucoin, Larry Aucoin and Darrell Aucoin; sister-in-law, Linda Aucoin; niece, Ricki Lynn Patureau, nephew, Randall Fryou; great-niece, Rhea Patureau, great-nephews, Gage Patureau and Royce Fryou; and her loyal comforting canine companions - Sarge, Cobe and Nola.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene J. Aucoin, Jr; parents John and Jeanne Hebert Fryou; and one brother, John Fryou.
