Cathy was my aunt/Godmother or as I called her Nanny. Tomorrow morning we will lay her to rest. She will be sorely missed by all of her loved ones including myself. I have many wonderful memories with her and our family. I will cherish those memories as I do those of my grandparents and my mother. In memory of Nanny 🕯

Prayers for her family and friends ! I went to school with Cathy and she was a sweet girl and very popular! 

I find comfort in knowing her pain on earth is over and she has returned to the Father. What a shame we all grow old and drift apart. One of my more vivid memories of Cathy was a time just after a heavy rain in Independence. A lot of us kids gathered on Cypress street to enjoy those flooded ditches in front of our house. It was about ten of us it seemed, LaMarca’s, Falcone’s, Cathy and Cindy and maybe a couple of friends. This was before the world became what it is, so we were supervised by the older teenagers in the group. We waded, swam and rode our bikes into the ditches. What a great day! Well it was, until we lost track of time and my dad came home from work. He lined us up and swatted our butts one at a time. We cried as our turn came up and then giggled as the others got their turn. I can still remember the look of disbelief on Cathy and Cindy’s faces. Priceless!

Cathy and I were thick as thieves when we were younger,you didn't see one without the other,spent many nights at her house,loved to run the streets in her neighborhood! She was fierce,and very headstrong,our parents watched us like hawks,thinking we would get into trouble but we never did.After we got to college,we went in different directions and never achieved that closeness again,but i'll cherish the memories we did share for the rest of my life,she will be missed! She was a great wife and mother! See ya in heaven!
