Clyde Turner

November 14, 1955 - August 10, 2023

Clyde William Turner, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Berwick, was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the age of 67.

Clyde was a dedicated hard worker, working diligently to provide for his children. Not only would he care for his family though, he was the kind of fellow who would go the extra mile to help his friends. He enjoyed fishing both commercially and recreationally. He was known for often capturing grasshoppers that are found among the bayous. A music lover, Clyde could play both guitar and harmonica for friends and family. Most importantly though, Clyde was a huge jokester. He always kept those around him laughing at his antics.

Clyde is survived by his daughter, Amy Turner; his son, Darus Turner and his wife, Mandy; four grandchildren, Taylor Turner, Emmy Turner, Kenzie Louviere, and Zack Turner; six siblings, Patricia Turner Barnes, Presley Turner, Nelson Turner, Clyteal Hatch, Camellie Walthal, and Chaaron Keitt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Turner; his mother, Bernice Turner and one sibling, Fue Turner.

Services for Clyde will be held privately for the family.
