Donald Crawford

February 8, 1945 - September 3, 2012

Donald Edison Crawford, 67, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Berwick since 1964 passed away, Monday, September 3, 2012 at his residence.

Donald is survived by his four sons, Marc Thomas Crawford, Brad Daniel Crawford and his fiancé, Trinity Marie Granger, Thad Matthew Crawford and his wife, Amie, and Caleb Garrett Crawford and his wife, Patricia; one brother, H. Robert Crawford of Pearl River; eight grandchildren, Landon William Lawson (19), Hunter Daniel Crawford (7), Carter Griffin Crawford (8), Ryland Jackson Crawford (5), Olivia Grace Crawford (16), Lane Eric Lipari (16), Reese Elliot Ledet (8), and Caidyn Brianne Crawford (1); and his beloved Yorkies, Mickey and Jolie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hadrum Rudolph Crawford and his mother, Sarah Van Scoter.

Donald has served in the United States Air Force and was a proud Vietnam War veteran. He began his career in the oil industry in 1964 and retired after 30+ years of dedicated service.

The family requesting visitation be observed Thursday, September 6, 2012 4pm to 10pm at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City.

Visitation will continue Friday, September 7th from 9am until time of service at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa with funeral services taking place at 11am. Graveside services will follow in the Crawford Cemetery in Bush, LA.
