May 20, 1960May 24, 2019

A resident of Berwick, Edward "Ed" Wilson Voisin, was called to his heavenly home on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the age of 59 at Teche Regional Medical Center.

Ed was the jokester of the family, always keeping his friends and family enriched in laughter. A family man, he worked hard to provide for his loved ones but he made sure to spend time enjoying life too. When not spending time with his family, Ed would often visit the casinos where he would win more than he lost. His wonderful, humorous and loving presence will forever be missed but never forgotten by his loved ones.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory is his wife of 40 years, Mercedes Voisin of Berwick; his three children, Shane Voisin and his wife, Calah, Lumberton, TX., Amy Boudreaux and her husband, Mark, of Berwick, and Jonathan Voisin and his wife, Amie, of Morgan City; six grandchildren; five siblings, Millard Finch and his wife, Linda, Andrew Voisin and his wife, Kathy, Wanda Williamson and her husband, Charles, Susan Finch and her wife, Isobel, and Dean Finch and his wife, Charlotte.

He joined in heaven, his parents, Andrew and Mary Ann Voisin and Mitchell and Jeanette Graffia; one brother, Darrell Voisin; and two sisters, Zita Armstrong and Marie Durham.

The family requests that a time of visitation be observed on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 10am until time of services at 12 noon at Hargrave Funeral Home. Following services, Ed will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will Mike Voisan, Lannis Whittington, Drayvan Bryan, C.J. Bryan, Jonathan Voisin, and Brendon Bryan with Jeffery Voisin, Nathan Mathew, and Mark Boudreaux acting as honorary pallbearers.
