Mrs. Eula Beadle Williams, 98, a native and lifelong resident of Morgan City peacefully passed away Thursday, December 29th at the St. Margaret’s Nursing Home in New Orleans.
Mrs. Eula was a member of the Ladies Altar Society at Holy Cross Catholic Church. She immensely enjoyed crocheting, having made many afghans for her friends, neighbors, and family. She loved socializing with her In-laws, playing numerous games and talking. Mrs. Eula loved to cook, feeding her family and friends, especially her grandkids. Mrs. Eula was a fun loving lady, who enjoyed dancing, Mardi Gras Holiday, and any celebration given.
Mrs. Eula is survived by her loving son, Bertran P. Williams and his wife, Patricia Rosson Williams, both of Patterson; her loving daughter, Sister Gayle Williams of New Orleans; three granddaughters, Grenie W. Fach and her husband, Donald Fach, Danette W. Smith and her husband, Tim Smith, and Patrice W. Singleton and her husband, Kenneth Singleton Sr.; six great grandsons, Philip G. Fach, Jake A. Smith, Kade R. Smith, Luke T. Smith, Kenneth W. Singleton Jr., and Joel V. Singleton; two great granddaughters, Alisande Fach and Ashlie P. Singleton, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Meryle E. Williams; her father, Wilson H. Beadle; her mother, Elizabeth L. Beadle; two brothers, Jack and Woodrow Beadle; and two sisters, Leona Verret, and Beatrice Napoli.
The family requests that visitation be observed Monday, January 2, 2012 from 9am until time of services at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, January 2nd at 12 noon at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City with graveside services following in the Morgan City Cemetery.
