On September the fourth, our lord called one of his angels back home. Eva Dean White was able to share one last anniversary with her devoted husband of 57 years, Edward White, and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.
Dean’s life was always centered around her family. Dean was a homemaker and caregiver to her three children. Carrie, Brett, and Ryan were undoubtedly the light in her life. Along with her husband Ed, they were also blessed with eight grandchildren.
When she wasn’t in the stands watching her kids play their chosen sports, she could be found in her flowerbeds planting and replanting whatever was in season. She loved listening to music and dancing to it even more.
Dean was preceded in death by her father Roy McWilliams, her mother Jessie McWilliams, and her sisters, Shirley Moore and Pauleen McWilliams.
Dean is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward White, daughter Carrie Lodrigue and her husband Duane Lodrigue of Berwick, son Brett White and his wife Mary of Berwick, and son Ryan White and his wife Kelly of Berwick. Dean is also survived by her brother Gary McWilliams of Rosepine and grandchildren Isabella, Eli, and Audrey Lodrigue, Evan, Grant, and Brennan White, as well as Mason and Olivia White.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church in Morgan City on Saturday September 19th with visitation from 9am until 11am with a mass to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
