George Ray Smith

George was a very loving and helping individual. He always went out of his way to help others. His heart was full of the love for God and he always strived to share God's word with everyone around him. Most importantly, he adored his family and friends.

George is survived by his two children, Ruby Smith and her companion, Richard Sosa and Eric Ray Smith; four grandchildren, Kristina Rivera, Ricky Rivera, Joshua Rivera, and Johnathan Sosa; his wife, Brenda Shelly Smith; his father, Ray Lee Smith and his siblings, Cecil Smith and Ruby Bergeron.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Jean Smith and one brother, Ricky Smith.

In keeping with the family's wishes, memorial services will be held for George at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hargrave Funeral Home to assist in the alleviation of funeral expenses.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Hargrave Funeral Home of Morgan City, Louisiana.
