Ms. Gladys was one of the best moms in the neighborhood... I knew I could always go to her if I needed help of any kind. She was a strong , dignified, fun-loving woman. My main memory of her is laughter and asking me for a hug or trying to get me to dance!! Loved her so much and loved all of you, the kids and grandkids, so much! You have all been my second family!

Shelia is a dear friend of mine and shared so much about Mrs. Gladys that I felt I knew her. What a precious mother she was! I LOVED her joie de vivre and how well she loved her family. Know that I am praying that the God of all comfort will comfort you in your time of sorrow. I am rejoicing with you that she is in Jesus’ presence for all eternity. 2Corinthians 12:9
