Those left to cherish Irving's wonderful memory are his two daughters, Lynnell Hanson and husband Andy and Iva Norman and husband Mike; grandchildren, Melanie, Todd, Trevor and Yancey; great grandchildren, Britne and husband Trenton, Tristen and Maddie and 1 great great grandchild, Parker.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathlyn Courtney; Joseph and Agnes Courtney; his siblings, B.J. Courtney, Stella Clements, and Rita Stephens.
A graveside service for Irving will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Morgan City Cemetery with military honors being rendered by the East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad.
