Janice was a loving mother and grandmother whose world began and ended with her family. She devoted her life to those she loved, offering her heart, her time, and her unwavering support in everything she did. A woman with a true green thumb, she found joy in nurturing the beauty of flowers, creating colorful spaces that reflected her own warmth and grace. Janice especially cherished the quiet moments spent watching hummingbirds, their delicate presence bringing her peace and wonder. Her love, gentleness, and the beauty she cultivated—both in her garden and in the lives of those around her—will be forever remembered.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Comeaux Sr.; her father, Nicholas Prosperie and her mother, Florence Robichaux Prosperie.
Pallbearers for Janice will be, Joseph Comeaux Jr., John Comeaux, Michael Broussard, Darin Harson, Nicholas Bonvillian, Chet Broussard, Clarence Bonvillian and Seth Comeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Russo and Joseph Daigle.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to assist in the alleviation of funeral expenses.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hargrave Funeral Home of Morgan City, Louisiana.
