Janice Aycock Buckel Leonard a native of Houma, and a resident of Morgan City passed away August 31, 2014 at 74.

Janice is survived by her companion, Ed Patterson, her four daughters Jill Haines, Jane Voss and fiancé Roddy Lerille, Ann Meche and husband Kirk and Amy Henley. Grandchildren Jan Haines White, Paul Haines III, Spencer, Taylor and Zachary Voss, Michael and Matthew Meche, Andrea’ Henley Boudreaux and Gary Henley. Great grandchildren Julia Haines and Adalynn Boudreaux.

She was preceded in death by parents’ Henry and Pearl Aycock, husband Mervin Leonard, two sons-in-law Paul Haines Jr. and Bill Voss.

The family would like to thank her caregivers, friends, and medical staff for the care and kindness received during her illness.

Visitation will be Tuesday September 2, 2014 at 8.30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church until 11 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 am followed by graveside services at the Morgan City Mausoleum.
