Those left to cherish his wonderful memory are his daughter, Crystal Courville and her husband, Jerred, and his son, Michael Bowling and his fiance, Karina Vera; his sister, Nora Stevens; two grandchildren, Madison and Macy and four great grandchildren.
He was reunited in heaven with his parents, John McCloy Sr. and Elnora McCloy; and his brother-in-law, Gared J. Stevens.
A Memorial service for John will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 11am at Triune Church of God in Christ in Franklin, Louisiana.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hargrave Funeral Home of Morgan City, LA.
