Kelly Anthony Dupre Sr.

January 24, 1960 – October 30, 2015

Kelly Dupre, Sr. a long time resident of Patterson passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the age of 55.

Kelly was a family man who lived for his wife, children, family and friends. He was always smiling and making people laugh. Open hearted, Kelly was one of the most giving men. His laughter and love will be forever missed but never forgotten.

Those left to cherish Kelly’s memory are his wife of 35 years, Susan Kennerson Dupre; his mother, Rita Dupre of Amelia; his two sons, Kelly Dupre, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Bayou Vista, and Scott Dupre and his wife, Kalyn, of Kenner; five grandchildren, Layla, Kade, Emily, Parker, and Logan Dupre; two brothers, Rachael Dupre and his wife, Waldine, of Houma, and Allen Dupre, Jr. of Springfield, OH.; and five sisters, Andrea Dupre Baum and her husband, Vic, of Tucumcari, NM., Christine Dupre of Amelia, Valina Dupre Blanchard and her husband, Stewart, of Patterson, Mona Dupre Carpenter and her husband, Sean, of Berwick, and Leslie Dupre Hanson and her fiancé, Patrick Woolam, of Albany.

He joins in heaven his father, Allen Dupre, Sr.

A time of visitation and reflection will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 6pm to 9pm at Hargrave Funeral Home with a rosary being prayed at 7pm. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 8am until time of dismissal at St. Bernadette Church Hall. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 10am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Kelly being laid to rest in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Patterson.
