Kenneth LaCoste, 69, a lifelong resident of Berwick, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda Flack LaCoste; three children, Ginger LaCoste, Regina LaCoste, and Kenneth Lyn LaCoste and his wife, Ellie; one grandson, Cameron LaCoste; one brother, Sterling LaCoste Sr. and wife, Mary Ann, of Bayou Vista; one sister, Shirline Amador and husband, Charles, of Berwick; his mother-in-law, Faye Flack; and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack LaCoste; his mother, Lillian Adams LaCoste; five brothers, Aubry, Clayton, Russell, Delma, and John “JC” LaCoste; and four sisters, Agnolia, Ara, Elda and Ella LaCoste.
Kenneth was a dedicated Christian who lived and breathed his faith. He loved God with all his heart and soul and was a strong family man, enjoying spending time with his wife, children and grandchild. He lived life to the fullest as a role model to his family and friends. Known as a rock for which to lean on, he led by example.
The family requests that visitation be observed today, Thursday, August 23, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. Visitation will resume Friday, August 24 at 9 a.m. until time of service at the First United Pentecostal Church of Berwick with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. Graveside services will be conducted with military honors by the East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad at the Morgan City Cemetery.
