Marie Louise Foreman

Marie Aucoin Foreman a longtime resident of Morgan City passed away May 9, 2014 in Houma at the age of 81.

Marie worked for and retired from J.B. Maitland Elementary, after 28 years of service. A faithful member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, she attended Mass every chance she could. Marie loved her family more than life itself; her greatest joy was their success. Marie enjoyed her many cats, and loved cooking for her family on Sundays. Marie had a kind word for all and was loved greatly.Marie is survived by her daughter Janice Magee and husband Art, sons Barry Menard and his wife Karen, Brent Foreman and his fiancé Robbin Allen. Grandchildren Sheena Magee, Quentin Menard and his fiancé Dawn Richard, Stephanie Torres and her husband Juan, Shannon Adams her husband Henry Jr. , Nicole Guillory and husband Greg, Samantha Bailey and her fiancé John Lemelle , Hope and Faith Marceaux, Brent Foreman Jr. and fiancé Jennifer Barbier, Great grandchildren Harlie, Santana, Shelley, Gabrielle, Donnie, Gracie, Kennedy, Peyton, Paisley, Chloe, and one brother Irvin Aucoin.

Marie is preceded by her husband Leroy Paul Foreman, her parents Elvin and Aurelia Aucoin sister Marguerite Rodrigue.

Marie’s family would like to say thank you to the staff of Chateau Terrebonne, for the loving care they provided.

Visitation was held Sunday May 11, 2014 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 5 pm until 9 pm. Continuing Monday May 12, 2014 at Hargrave Funeral Home 9 am until 10.30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 11 am. Marie was laid to rest beside her husband in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
