Michelle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. A talented beautician, she loved to make everyone look their best. This included her family. She was excited about the upcoming birth of her second great grandchild.
Michelle is survived by her husband of 44 years, Kevin Cothron; her two sons, Dennis Norwood and his wife, Christine, and Britten Businelle and his wife, Shari; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by one sister, Donna Hanks and two brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton Norwood and Rose Mary Toups; and her grandparents, Alton Joseph Norwood, Doveline Eve Bergeron, Edgar Alfred "Shine" Prejean and Marie Rogers.
In celebration of her first heavenly birthday, a memorial visitation will be held for Michelle on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 from 12noon until 2pm at Hargrave Funeral Home with dismissal to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hargrave Funeral Home at 1031 Victor II Blvd Morgan City, LA 70380 to assist in the alleviation of funeral expenses.
