A loving mother and adoring grandmother. Peggy was a strong woman who had a deep faith in God. A true Cajun woman, Peggy enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing. Born with a green thumb, she had the ability to make things grow. It was a skill she taught her grandchildren. Peggy enjoyed trying her luck with scratch off tickets and the machines at the casino. She was always optimistic at her chances and took great pleasure when winning. In Louisiana, where seafood is abundant, Peggy was a master at crab picking compared to others in her family. An excellent cook, she would prepare great food for her family and even though she used a plentiful amount of onion, her loved ones enjoyed everything she made for them. Her family takes great comfort in knowing that Peggy is finally reunited with her husband 34 years.
Peggy leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, her four children, Charles Crandall Jr., Scott Crandall, Angel Crandall and her companion, Shayne Rineholt, and Katie Crandall and her husband, Jimmie Rineholt III; eleven granhildren, Nesa Buck, Reese Ribardi, Jason Ribardi Jr., Cloe Rineholt, Ellie Rineholt, Jasmine Crandall, Landen Crandall, Zayden Crandall, Kaylee Crandall, Alyssa Crandall, Charlie Crandall; her companion, Randy Dinger; her siblings, Mary Sauce, Johnny Richard Jr., Judy Duval, Theresa Norman, Victor Richard, and Glenn Richard; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Charles Crandall Sr.; her parents Johnny and Lillian Richard; her son-in-law, Jacob Buck; and her nephew, Brandon Teeters.
Due to the current circumstances, a memorial service for Peggy will be held at a later date.
